Margo Guernsey
​DIRECTOR/PRODUCER

Margo Guernsey is a documentary Director/Producer, impact strategist, and founder of Time Travel Productions LLC. Her first feature, Councilwoman (America ReFramed 2019), won multiple awards. Prior to film, Margo worked as a union organizer, non-profit development director, and Spanish/English translator. She holds an MFA in Film (University of Miami), MA in History (Umass/Amherst), and a BA in History (Brown University). Margo’s work has received support from Chicken & Egg Pictures, ITVS, Catapult Film Fund, GoodPitch, the Democracy Fund and the Surdna Foundation, among others. She speaks both Spanish and English, and she is a proud Mama of two young children, navigating motherhood, as an adoptive and biological mother, in a bicultural Dominican/American multi-generational household.

Nikki Bramley
​co-PRODUCER, DIR. OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Nikki's work as a Director of Photography ranges from independent documentaries to high-end commercial projects. Recent broadcast credits include: Councilwoman (America Re-Framed 2019), Breaking Big (PBS 2018), Seeing Eyes/Feeling Heart (American Masters 2018), NOVA “Addiction” (2018), NOVA “Prediction by the Numbers" (2017), Frontline (2017, 2015). Nikki graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University in 2002 with a BS in Television, Radio and Film Production. ​

Rabab Haj Yahya
​EDITOR

Rabab is best known for the award-winning feature documentaries, The Feeling of Being Watched (Tribeca 2018) and Speed Sisters (Hot Docs 2015). She was also an editor on the Emmy-nominated web-series the Secret Life of Muslims (Peabody Finalist, Vox and USA Today, 2016), Enemies of the South(AlJazeera Doc Channel 2015), and numerous documentaries for the critically-acclaimed TV documentary series Witness. Rabab has teamed up with powerful directors to edit a number of shorts including Love the Sinner (Tribeca 2017), An Act of Worship (Field of Vision) and 62 Days (2017). She is a Sundance Edit and Story Lab Fellow.  In between projects, Rabab has dedicated time helping aspiring editors through training and consultations in the Middle East, West Africa, and the Balkans, earning her the Sulafa Jadallah Award for outstanding contribution to women’s cinema. Rabab speaks English, Arabic, and Hebrew fluently and currently lives in New York.

Heather Merrill
ARCHIVE PRODUCER

Heather has worked in documentary production for more than 10 years. Her associate producer and research credits include work on numerous independent films, programs for Discovery, Showtime and the WORLD Channel, as well as work for the PBS series American Experience, American Masters and NOVA. Her favorite topics have included women wrestlers, the roots of the modern Israeli-Palestinian conflict and disaster studies.​

Patricia Benabe
PRODUCING CONSULTANT

Patricia produced feature documentaries Councilwoman (America ReFramed 2019), Memories of a Penitent Heart (Tribeca Film Festival, 2016; POV, 2017) and short films Love The Sinner (Tribeca Film Festival, 2017) and They Took Them Alive (Full Frame, 2017). She co-produced The Hand That Feeds (Emmy Nominee; America ReFramed, 2016) and Reportero (Emmy nominee; POV, 2013). ​Her films have received support from Ford Foundation, Cinereach, Latino Public Broadcasting, ITVS, POV, Chicken and Egg, Fledgling, and Sundance Film Institute. ​

Myra Boutros
ASSOCIATE EDITOR

Born and raised in Beirut, Myra earned a Master’s degree in Filmmaking and Television production with honors from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts - University of Balamand. During her time in Lebanon, she worked in tv writing and production. But editing was her passion. She edited international commercials, corporate videos, music videos, movie trailers, short fiction films and documentaries. In 2012 Myra moved to Boston, where she worked as an Assistant Editor on various PBS productions including American Experience, American Masters, and NOVA. She just wrapped editing her first feature length documentary Growing Through COVID-19 (not yet released). Myra is fully trilingual and has edited movies in English, French and Arabic.
